Drug Uses

How Taken
Zyrtec is accepted in tablets orally once daily. It may be taken on a regular basis or when the allergy exasperates. Do not exceed or reduce the dosage or take it in smaller periods of time unless prescribed so.
Warnings/Precautions
Your doctor should be informed in case of any kidney or liver disorders that you experience. You may need a reduced dose or special observing during treatment with Zyrtec. Zyrtec is in category B of the FDA pregnancy meaning it is nearly not possible that it harms a fetus. In case of pregnancy prior medical consultation before taking Zyrtec is obligatory. Zyrtec penetrates through mother's milk and may have a negative effect on a breast-fed child. Do talk to your doctor if you breast-feed and intend to start Zyrtec. The age of 60 + exposes the patient to the risk of more side effects, so you may decide to ask for a lower dose prescription of the medicine.
Missed Dose
If a dose is passed, don't excess dosage to catch up. Your tablet should be taken on a regular basis. Do not absorb more tablets than prescribed.
Possible Side Effects
Stop taking Zyrtec and call for an emergency medical help if you suffer an allergic attack (problems with breathing; throat occlusion; bloating lips, tongue, or face; or hives). Other slighter side effects are also possible. Go on to accept Zyrtec and consult with your doctor if some of the following conditions arise: drowsiness, tiredness, or daze; migraine; or dry mouth. Other side effects can sometimes occur. Call your doctor for any uncustomary side effects that may be troublesome.
Storage
Keep at 20-25°C (68-77°F); deviations can vary from 15-30°C (59-86°F).
Overdose
Ask for emergency medical notice. The outcomes of a Zyrtec overdosing are unfamiliar, but excessive drowsiness, embarrassment and feebleness may be awaited.
More Information
Be attentive when driving, handling with machinery, or executing any other insecure activities. Zyrtec may cause daze or lethargy. If you experience those, avoid the above mentioned activities. Alcohol can be taken with caution, because it may lead to lethargy and daze during Zyrtec intake.
