Vermox is a medication used for the treatment of threadworms and other common worm infections.

How Taken

Vermox is taken orally. Your doctor will instruct you about the dosage and the period of intake. Read the label and instructions for the usage of the drug and follow your doctor's directions.

Warnings/Precautions

Children aged less than 2 years should not take Vermox. Do not use the medication if you are pregnant or suspect to be pregnant. The usage of Vermox while you are breast-feeding is not recommended because the ingredients of the medication may pass into breast milk.

Missed Dose

In case you miss a dose, take the drug as soon as you remember. If it is already time for your next dose, skip the missed one and take the scheduled one. Do no take a double dose of Vermox.

Possible Side Effects

The side effects that may occur include mild, short-lived stomach ache or diarrhea, or an allergic reaction resulting in rash, shortness of breath, itching, etc.

Storage

Vermox should be kept away from children, at a temperature under 25°C, and should be protected from direct light. Use before the expiry date on the packing.

Overdose

In case of an overdose, contact your doctor immediately.

More Information

There are no special instructions or restriction on food, alcohol or performance of various activities during a treatment with Vermox.
