Drug Uses
Levbid is a medicine used to control medical conditions like excessive production of acid in the stomach, excessive pancreas secretion and excessive sweating the drooling caused be some diseases like Parkinson's disease.
How Taken
The capsules should be taken with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew them; swallow them whole. They are slowly released in the body.
Warnings/Precautions
Inform your doctor in case you have numbness or tingling in your hands or feet; liver disease; ulcerative colitis; thyroid problems; high blood pressure, an irregular heartbeat, or any type of heart disease; enlargement of the prostate; or asthma, chronic lung disease, or allergies. If you suffer from any of these diseases, you may not be able to use Levbid or your dose may have to be adjusted, or you may have to be monitored regularly during the treatment. Consult your doctor before taking Levbid if you are pregnant or are breast feedin. It is not clear if Levbid may be harmful to a fetus.
Missed Dose
In case you miss a dose, take the drug as soon as you remember. If it is already time for your next dose, skip the missed one and take the scheduled one. Do no take a double dose.
Possible Side Effects
Contact your doctor immediately and stop taking Levbid if you develop any of these side effects: an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives); an irregular or fast heart rate; rash or flushing; or eye pain. If you have any of the following less serious side effects, continue using Levbid but inform your doctor: headache, dizziness, or lightheadedness; weakness or nervousness; blurred vision, large pupils, or sensitivity of the eyes to bright light; nausea, bloating, heartburn, or constipation; changes in taste.
Storage
Levbid should be stored at a room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it away from children.
Overdose
If you suspect an overdose, immediately search for an overdose. The symptoms of an overdose may include: headache; nausea; vomiting; dry mouth; difficulty swallowing; blurred vision; dilated pupils; hot, dry skin; dizziness; drowsiness; confusion; anxiety; seizures; weak pulse; and an irregular heartbeat
