Cleocin T is used for treatment of acne vulgaris.

How Taken

Apply a thin layer of Cleocin T Topical Solution twice a day on the affected area. You may also use a Cleocin T Topical Solution pledget. You may use more than one pledget but should use a pledget only once.

Warnings/Precautions

It is not clear if clindamycin passes into breast milk after the usage of Cleocin T. But clindamicin is known to pass into breast milk after its usage.

Missed Dose

In case you miss a dose, take the drug as soon as you remember. If it is already time for your next dose, skip the missed one and take the scheduled one. Do no take a double dose.

Possible Side Effects

The usage of Cleocin T may cause severe colitis that may be life threatening. Clindamycin may cause abdominal pain, gastrointestinal problems and gram-negative folliculitis.

Storage

You should not use the pledget if the seal is broker. Use it only once. Keep the liquid medicine in a tightly closed container and away from children.

Overdose

Topically applied Cleocin T can be absorbed in sufficient amounts to produce systemic effects. If you suspect an overdose of Cleocin T, immediately search for medical help.

More Information

Be cautious if you use Cleocin T in combination with neuromuscular blocking agents.
